9 MONTHS OLD ALREADY!!! Not me, haha….baby boy will be 9 months this weekend…so here I am 9 months postpartum.
I thought it would be neat for comparison sake to put back on the same clothes I wore in my first few progress photos. One from pregnancy and one from a few weeks postpartum, some#throwbackthursday action for ya….
My progress hasn’t been drastic, six pack abs, never look like you had a baby kind of results…..
but the progress you see here is the kind thats attainable, real, and the day at a time kind of approach. From the start I have focused on muscle gain and not weight loss, strength gains and not pant size, progress and not perfection.
9 months ago I barely had the courage to take these pictures, 9 months ago I wanted to hide in baggy T-shirts and 9 months ago I had days of doubt that I would ever get my body back where I wanted it.
But I embraced where I was, I worked my way out of the baggy shirts, and I am still fighting the days of doubt with the power of self belief.
So here is 9 months progress…..9 months of hard work, mostly strength training, and a balanced and flexible approach to dieting, but a consistent focused and determined approach.
I’m not where I want to be but I’m not where I was…….it’s all about perspective.
No matter where you are NOW just think of where you could be in 9 months or less if you just put your head down and get to work.
